Jessica Rosen is a visual artist, curator, and scholar, with her practice rooted in feminist and queer theory. Currently, she works as a Curatorial Assistant at The Heckscher Museum of Art, Huntington, New York where she assists in the development and organization of exhibitions, as well as the management and care of the collection.
After completing her Bachelor’s at Colgate University in Studio Art, she went on to pursue her Master’s at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, in the program Arts and Heritage: Policy, Management, and Education. Her thesis was titled An Open Book with Multiple Readings: Feminist Museology explored through the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art. She presented her research at various academic conferences, including at the London Arts-Based Research Centre, Indiana University, and Binghamton University.
